Really great, special pizzas. Delicious and rich flavors, interesting options. BYOB, small space. We went mid day and didn’t have an issue sitting right away in a group of 4 but there is very limited seating when it does get busy. Staff is all really friendly and the place has a great energy.

A great find - small place you would not expect in the neighborhood !! Amazing food that is available only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday - the breads are amazing, the pizza is worth it and simply love the service - all in all a great place to grab a sandwich/pizza !! No substitutions it is what it is and it is delicious ???? …

Traveled far just to check this place out and it didn’t disappoint. Loved the pizza. Drizzle of good olive oil and salt on top of a tastes sauce and crisp crust. Mushroom at tomato sandwich was also outstanding. Can’t wait to go back. If I lived nearby I’d be there daily. High top tables outside for standing only. Otherwise take it to go. Yum!!!

A small ,but impeccably put together, choice of Italian food ,together with the best bread ( Italian style ) in Jersey City Heights. If you're looking for the generic Italian/American style pizzeria, this is not the place for you. If you want the most authentic Italian food available anywhere, then go here. (I lived in Italy for 3 years.)

Bread and Salt how about some more sauce and toppings Quality artisan pizza and foods. Personally I like sauce. Great Food, Great People I had a Calazone and a Broccoli Rob Sandwich. The quality here is off the Charts. The CheFs are 3 star Michelin quality.

One of the best reasons to head to the Heights on a weekend. Go on Sunday and hit the farmers market in the park, then get in line before they open (there will be a queue). There is always something new on the menu but if you haven’t been, you have to get the basic ham and cheese on their flat and crispy focaccia. If it is ready, their thicker fresh focaccia is fantastic as well. If you are a coffee drinker the cafe leccese (sp?) is a must. You really can’t go wrong, it’s just different shades of right.

This pizzeria and bakery is a very welcome addition to The Heights neighborhood of Jersey City. It is owned and operated by an acclaimed bread maker Rick Easton. Behind an inconspicuous facade is hidden arguably the best pizza and Italian breads in the New York City metro area. These days they are only open twice a week for pick up only but every time I drive by there is a line.

This pizza must be made from liquid happiness or something. The crunch, salt, and flavor is unbeatable and worth a trip over to the heights. Don’t forget to grab some dessert and maybe even a sammy to share. Perfect date idea is grabbing some food and going over to Riverview park.

AMAZING on all fronts! We went for the first time and received A+ customer service from their staff who helped us pick out a bunch of stuff from their bread to their pizza to some desserts (and honestly even more). We stocked up because we came from the city. We’ve been enjoying their bread for over a week (slice it up and freeze it when you get home). Can’t wait to go back.

Pizza delicious. No seating & can be a little chaotic in tiny place. But would order again to take home.
